Lantern
This lantern caught my eye as we were entering the National Archives Building in Washington last month. It’s perched above a non-descript doorway, which leads you through a tunnel underneath the front steps. All hidden behind bushes around the side… strange.
I’m not sure why visitors aren’t ushered up the grand limestone staircase on the facade of the building, but either way – this lantern made me feel like an important guest.
